A connected team

But Doesn’t My Resort Already Have a Wedding Coordinator?

Yes—your resort wedding team is an important part of your celebration. They manage the property’s wedding arrangements under your resort agreement.

JDTA complements their work by helping connect your questions, guest information, vendor conversations and planning timeline within the scope we agree together. We collaborate with the resort team; we do not replace them or control supplier performance.

Optional on-site support

Need Someone There on Your Wedding Day?

Some celebrations call for additional hands-on support at the destination.

On-site coordination may also be arranged, depending on your destination, wedding date, availability, and the support you need.

During your consultation, we’ll discuss what makes sense for your celebration and how on-site support would work alongside your resort’s wedding team.

Your questions, answered

Destination Wedding Coordination FAQs

Can you help if we booked through another travel agent?

Yes. The same coordination services are available without automatically transferring your travel bookings. Your existing agent remains responsible for reservations they control.

What if we booked directly with the resort?

You can request coordination support around your existing plans. We’ll review your resort arrangements and agree how JDTA can help connect the remaining details.

Do we need to transfer our existing reservations?

No automatic transfer is required. Existing reservations remain with their original providers unless a separate change is explicitly agreed and permitted.

How is this different from the resort wedding coordinator?

Your resort team manages the property’s wedding arrangements. JDTA complements that work by helping connect the agreed communications, guest details and planning timeline.

Can you help with vendor communication?

Yes. Vendor and resort communication can form part of your agreed coordination plan. We’ll clarify contacts, responsibilities and approvals together.

Can you help with guest travel and room blocks?

We can help organize information and coordinate questions. Reservations and room blocks made elsewhere remain controlled by the original resort or booking provider; changes must go through them.

Will you attend our wedding on-site?

On-site support is optional and subject to destination, date, availability and agreed scope. Attendance is not automatically included and must be confirmed in writing.

When should we ask about coordination?

Reach out when the details start to feel difficult to manage. An earlier conversation gives us time to review your plans and availability; support is subject to agreement.

What if most of our planning is already complete?

You can still ask for help with final preparations and communication. We’ll review what remains and determine an appropriate scope.

How do we get started?

Complete the coordination inquiry or schedule a 30-minute consultation. Tell us what you’ve booked and where you need support, and we’ll review next steps together.
